June ARTwalk at The Shops of Wailea
to Support Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui
Parking proceeds to be donated
Wailea, Maui, Hawaii – (May 27, 2016) Proceeds from the June ARTwalk at The Shops at Wailea will support Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui. ARTwalk is held the first Wednesday of each month, this month’s theme is “She Loves Me, She Love Me Not”, with the focus on blooms to celebrate the beauty of the floral colors on Maui. During this event, a portion of event parking costs will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui. Each month a new non-profit organization will be selected as the beneficiary.
Supporting community, the ARTwalk is open to the public and is a fun complimentary event to promote local visual art and artists in a wide range of mediums and artistic style, including painting, sculpture, metal art, handmade jewelry, photography, pottery and glass works. Our vision is to enrich our community through exploration and discovery in the arts and music while supporting our local business and non-profit partners.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui operates six Clubhouses that provide a safe, supportive, supervised environment where youth ages 9 to 17 can be themselves, experience positive role models and learn the values and skills that forge individual lives to success. Their Mission is to inspire and enable young people, especially those who need the support the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
“The Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui is a great organization.” says The Shops at Wailea General Manager, Brian Yano. “The emphasis on providing opportunities for young kids is something we are very proud to support.”
